Kia Ora, Talofa Lava, Malo e lelei and warm greetings to you all.
Congratulations on getting engaged and finding the love of your life!
Whether you are planning the wedding of your dreams, eloping at the spur of the moment, or renewing your wedding vows, I will officiate the wedding ceremony you envision.
As a Maori, Tongan, and Samoan woman, I recognise the importance of incorporating culture within wedding ceremonies. This can be anything from a simple greeting, a Maori proverb, a karakia (prayer), or excerpts of Te Reo Maori throughout your ceremony. Typically, this is done with the utmost respect to recognise and appreciate your own culture, whakapapa (ancestry), whenua (land) upon which the ceremony is taking place, and your whanau (family).
My role as your celebrant is to create a wedding ceremony that reflects who you are as a couple by capturing your thoughts and ideas, and bringing it to life. Whether you desire a romantic, heart-felt, traditional, casual, or light and funny ceremony, it would be my honour and privilege to create this atmosphere and officiate your special day.
